A friend of @spirov12’s employed team HadaSperoff in his engagement last night at the Opryland Hotel and we all loved getting to explore the winter wonderland. Never have I ever had to make an under the table deal for a horse drawn carriage ride, but I did last night and it was awesome! 🤣

Adventures in the unexpectedly unemployed: day 12. With scrambling for a job and applying for a ton of positions, comes almost as many rejections. For someone who prides themself in their dedication and work ethic, that’s not an easy pill to swallow. I’m a firm believer that the right thing will come along at the right time, but I’d be lying if I said the waiting wasn’t incredibly painful. Even with medication for anxiety (which I am so, so grateful for), these last few days have been darkest I’ve been through in a long time. So today was about living in yoga pants and mascara, getting off the couch & putzing through Target and Petsmart. Deep cleaning a few areas of the rental house and dreaming about our new one. Raking some leaves & working on some coloring (thanks for the awesome gift @annaeholland and @georgecholland)! Here’s to riding the highs and lows of this season; thanks for hanging around with me!

Family. This group right here, plus @millcreek_nick, is the core who made this place tick - day in and day out; 2am mill-ins to 10pm knockouts to Saturday event hands to photo props, tour guides, janitors, canning line techs, recipe creators, sales guys, and even putting up that fucking plant wall. Even while soaking in the official news that we were done (about an hour before this picture was taken) - we stayed, because shutting down this thing isn’t a one man job. Keep these faces at the forefront of your thinking before you start gloating about a company shutting down; while losing our jobs, we all lost something that we so deeply loved and cared for. And pray that I find another job fast, because we’re supposed to close on a home we’ve been building since July in 6 weeks.
